To enhance awareness of the Clean Cities Coalition through community outreach to local governmental entities, health and educational institutions, the business community and the general public through dissemination of information on clean fuel vehicle opportunities and benefits of their use.
The Air Quality Information and Education Committee meets on an as needed basis.

To advocate for local, state and federal legislation and initiatives that will further the Greater Long Island Clean Cities Coalition efforts to deploy alternative fuel vehicles and build supporting infrastructure.
The Legislative Committee is just becoming active again and does not have a set meeting schedule.

To increase awareness of Alternative Fuel Vehicles in light, medium and heavy-duty class fleets in the Nassau/Suffolk area along with assisting stakeholders in navigating the CMAQ funding process.
